We re-open 28th March 2026.
We are selling the excellent & local Drummuir Farm ice cream as well as Porelli ice cream with 18 flavours.
Sadly we don’t have our own cows or farm but we can do the next best thing and help support local farmers.
As a Biosphere business we believe in creating local jobs, using local suppliers in an effort to improve collaboration and make our communities sustainable.

Situated in Gatehouse of Fleet, across from the main car park, we have the ideal location for those living within or visiting our beautiful region.
Close to Kirkcudbright, Castle Douglas & Newton Stewart our location is perfect if you are visitors to the area or just passing through!

Desserts are the perfect way to start a meal and helpfully our ice cream parlour is situated across from the Ship Inn and its blissful beer garden. Please feel free to consume our ice cream in the beer garden.
We are a Biosphere certified business and our hotel uses local ingredients where possible:
Grobdale of Girthon supply pork reared through low intensity farming while Ballards butchers provide our meats. Gledpark farm assured venison & Galloway Smokehouse for smoked meats as well as fresh fish from Fleet Fish. The renowned and excellent Ethical Dairy supplies our cheese & our free range eggs come from Laggan.
