What are the opening times for No.1 Fleet Street@The Ship Inn?

No.1 Fleet Street@The Ship Inn is open daily, serving food from 12pm last food orders 8.30pm (8pm in the winter) . We serve food all day and switch the menu for the evening. On Sunday we serve roast dinners. You are welcome to pop in just for a drink or an Illy coffee and sit round our amazing woodburner!

No.1 Fleet Street@The Ship Inn serves a range of food from homemade favourites like its infamous steak pie to a range of more seasonal homecooked food such as lamb rump and venison loin. We pride ourselves on selling local sea food and produce at an affordable price given the unprecedented cost inflation in the hospitality sector. We offer vegetarian dishes as well as Nepalese curries prepared by our chefs (compare by all means but don’t expect it to reflect the cuisine of India) they are poles apart. Chef Xavier, is a world master chef and his French influence is reflected in the cooking.

Do we provide vegetarian dishes and do we cater for all dietary needs?

We have some really special vegetarian dishes and if you let us know in advance we will do our best to tailor our dishes to exclude certain elements where there is an intolerance.

Is the restaurant dog and child friendly?

Absolutely dogs and children are very welcome as a pet friendly family owned business. We offer a dedicated Light bites menu and dogs are welcome to join for meals just let us know on the booking form so we can try to manage seating.

Do you have any outside space at No1 Fleet Street@The Ship Inn?

Yes we have seating outside as well as a 1 acre beer garden with a riverside summer house with additional seating. We have secure storage for up to 14 bikes in an Asgard shed and we are able to hold functions in the garden during the Spring and the Summer. Winner of the 2026 Scottish Dining Award for Best Outdoor Dining.
